Bio
Brandon McGregor is a Board Certified Structural Integrator (BCSI), having graduated from the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration program, and a member of the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI).
Brandon spent most of his youth establishing a relationship to his body through sports, in particular, playing Division 1 soccer at Miami University. However, post college, he spent the next 17 years working a desk job in the financial services industry, gradually experiencing a disconnect from his physical and emotional body, manifesting as low back pain, the remnants of a separated shoulder and a loss in range of motion.
After leaving the world of finance, seeking to rediscover a movement practice and counter these new-found limitations of the body, Brandon turned to Ashtanga yoga, ultimately leading him to a 200-Hour certification through Ananda Ashram in Monroe, New York. In a further quest to reach a more fully functioning self, he then explored chiropractic manipulation, acupuncture, and other types of Eastern medicine, finally leading to the discovery of Structural Integration.
Brandon received the 12-Series from Simone Lindner, an ATSI practitioner, and realized greater proprioception and awareness, exhibited an improved range of motion, and felt true embodiment for the first time in many years. This experience was the motivation for Brandon to pursue a career in Structural Integration. First earning an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy (LMT) from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York City, he then studied with Tom Myers at the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration school in Walpole, Maine.
Through this 6 year journey of movement and manual therapy, it has become Brandon's commitment to share this practice, and all of its benefits, with as many people as possible.
